Dr. Squire is so proud to be following in her mother’s footsteps and loves working with her parents every day to help create pleasant care experiences for patients in need. She left her home of Virginia Beach almost a decade ago for school, and now she’s ecstatic to be back near her family – and the beach too! Why Dr. Squire Became a Dentist
In her teenage years, Dr. Squire bounced between a few different ideas for her eventual career. However, coming into this office and seeing her mom so genuinely happy made it hard for her to not choose dentistry in the end. She finally made the decision to commit herself, and she couldn’t be happier with that choice because now, she works in a field she truly loves with the person she loves most every day! Not many people can say that.
Education & Background
After completing her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, Dr. Squire pursued her dental doctorate at Virginia Commonwealth University. In the near future, she’s planning to pursue advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and dental implant placement, which are her biggest areas of interest. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association.
Life at Home
Outside of work, you can often find Dr. Squire spending quality time with her husband, pup, and cat. She LOVES animals and would adopt every pet if she could! As for personal hobbies, she enjoys sipping a nice glass of wine out on the back porch, hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park in the fall, reading a great book while sipping a cup of tea, and practicing self-care like exercising, journaling, and skincare routines.
